Part-Time Forensic Nurse Examiner


Kate Hillman received her Bachelors of Science in Nursing at Huntington University. Kate comes to the SATC with experience in progressive post-surgical care, obstetrics, and caring for individuals with impaired functioning residing in group homes. She joined us as a part time nurse in 2021. She completed forensic training including an education course of 41 hours of adult and 43 hours of pediatric didactic training programs. Her orientation consisted of 275 hours of forensic clinical experience for adults and adolescents and 432 hours of forensic clinical experience for pediatric patients. She is passionate about providing care to survivors of sexual assault and abuse as well as improving the quality of women’s health care. She has been a board member and volunteer of McKenzie’s Hope, a child advocacy center in Huntington, Indiana since 2018 to present. In her spare time, Kate enjoys reading, golfing and going on hikes with her husband.
