Elizabeth Castillo is one of our part-time forensic nurse examiners.
Elizabeth Castillo received an Associate of Science in Nursing degree from Ivy Tech Community College. She is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree at Indiana University- Fort Wayne. She has clinical experience as a registered nurse in long-term care setting, pediatric home health, COVID -19, and medical/ surgical units. Elizabeth has volunteered at the Clinica Madre De Dias (Mother of God Clinic) and at St. Joseph Catholic School in Fort Wayne as a school nurse. She is currently volunteering as a Hispanic Leadership Coalition of Northeast Indiana board member. Elizabeth is fluent in Spanish and is a trained medical interpreter which allows her to be a conduit between the Spanish-speaking community and healthcare workers. She has led and been a team member on medical, dental, and construction mission trips in various countries. She is passionate about serving her local community and internationally, especially those who are underserved. Elizabeth recently joined the SATC team in 2021.
